Musical musings

Long Long ago...(actually just a few days ago), a guy was sitting in a numerical analysis class in the last bench. The subject was dry, the day was hot, the atmosphere was sultry, the mood was dull and the guy was sleepy. So, to avoid the embarrassment of him being caught sleeping by the instructor, he started writing a song... it worked... he didn't sleep. Btw you must be knowing this guy(since you are reading this blog).
Note: U will have a much elevated feel if you try singing the song along in your own tune.... the tune you build gives you an idea of your mood too!
Here goes...

Flowing through this life, I find some love...
Quitting and relaxing is a choice not now...

Chorus:
I can't see the light clearly... but
I do perceive affection dearly...
I want to be the most neglected...
I want to be the most attended...
Oh....

There's a hope here in these woods...
Killing and betraying seems too rude...
You and I can see what its like...
But only I can feel the things alike...

Chorus...

(All music in your head must stop now and try to sing a solo here...)
When I do these things.....When they feel the stings.....
Emotions span the head and the nail.....True wisdom is never to bail...... never... to... bail...

Prelude to donno what.

I am back on campus in pilani and life is pretty much amusing.
People are starting to look pretty capable and prepared, probably because we're all in the final year of our odyssey. It is with this perspective that I intend to give an account of the life that we share here.
The day starts with sunrise. It might seem hard for you guys to believe that a bitsian wakes up at sunrise but the constraint here is electricity. With the already sultry atmosphere, imagine how you would wake up if the fan is off at 7 in the morning. Not able to imagine? Your responsive body starts to sweat profusely, all the liquids out of you and the place where your body is in contact with the mattress gets super damp=>eventually waking you up with an irritating, sticky feel. The reason for all this is a power shut down from 7am to 10am and 4pm to 6pm everyday. So the next time you get angry at the world because your A.C. is not functioning properly... balls to you!
People (woken up by the same procedure) slowly start to come out of their rooms like a bunch of cockroaches after a pesticide treatment. Bothered people start attending classes while the others find ways to live lives. Time flows by and just as the clock strikes five, people again assemble in the bhavan(hostel) to chat away an hour into the power-having part of their lives. Computers are switched on, lan hubs are activated, songs are played, movies are watched, stuff is done, games are played and campus life is gulped in. Screams like "mess", "khana", "dinner", "abey join 10.72", "******" become significant at around 7pm, when all of us are mobilised to the mess. Long conversations about international issues, celebrities, profs and courses, girls etc. follow dinner. People slowly start to disperse and from then on the pre-course for a fresh day with a prejudiced outlook is experienced. :)

Cosmosis

Can you tell me with absolute certainty that everything you go through, is an expected response to a choice you made? If yes, what do you think makes you make that choice? If you are saying, "why should something make me make that choice?", then a discussion between you and me must be a saturated one. I advise you read no further.
On the other hand, can you tell me with absolute certainty that everything you go through, is exactly written and there is nothing you did for it? If yes, then why do you keep feeling like you are making choices?
The cosmosis theory can help both the categories here. You are making choices and you are going through pre-intended stuff. The image enclosed, elucidates the theory better.
We are all obviously in continuous balance with the cosmos we live in. You are initiated at a point, the point of consciousness. Then you come across the red dots, the junctions of choice. At these points you choose a path consciously/sub-consciously and are, as a consequence pushed onto a pre-laid path in the cosmos. Then you come across hurdles which act as references and help you understand that you are in fact treading a path. So, the next time you are confronted by a hardship, understand that you are on a path to a choice junction. Movement along this path is inevitable once you are on it. The cosmos keeps pushing you and when you resist movement, you encounter a situation called "depression". In this state you tend to lose the sense of abstracting sense out of your actions. Caution yourself of this. And then you again encounter a junction of choice and a path and so on......
Now if you are in perfect harmony and pace with the cosmos, you might end up knowing the final choice or you might notice the triviality of the made choices and treaded paths. This would be the end of the journey.. You can, as per many philosophers, command the cosmos...
